I have always been passionate about plants and their powerful healing properties for as long as I can remember. I knew as a teenager that I wanted to be a healer and I have spent most of my life dedicated to expanding my knowledge of both Western and Alternative Medicine.

During college, I was fortunate to study with acclaimed herbalist Jeanne Rose while attending Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona for my bachelorette degree. Soon after, I married my love, Cory and we moved to Santa Cruz California. I received my first Herbalist Certification in Chinese Herbology from The American School of Botanical Medicine in Santa Cruz California. We had our first son, Jordan, shortly after, and moved to Austin Texas to be closer to family. I quickly enrolled at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine where I received a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine.

I enjoyed a busy Acupuncture practice for many years, adding an aesthetics certification in 2009, however, my passion for medicine and learning persisted. I enrolled at the University of Texas School of Nursing in 2014 and received a Master in Nursing degree in 2017. Since then, I have practiced as an Advanced Practice Nurse in clinical and hospital settings. I have been honored to have been able to provide much-needed acute care medicine to very sick individuals. My time practicing “Western Medicine” has confirmed my belief that people need more access to preventative and integrative medicine. This led me to start Austin Access Integrative Medicine (AAIM). Our mission at AAIM is to provide valuable preventative health services including Acupuncture, Nutritional Education and Support, Lifestyle Medicine, and affordable supplement and prescription solutions to those in our community who generally do not have access to these services. Our doors are open to everyone, regardless of income!

I look forward to continuing to provide my patients with all their healthcare needs, whether their request is to heal chronic illness or to look and feel their best as they advance in age. I’m honored to provide my patients with the tools to improve and maintain their health from within as well as on the outside.
